Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery is a great place to go horseback riding. The trails are fairly wide with good visibility and relatively few hazards, making this is an excellent place for young or beginner riders. During summer months, Icicle Outfitters offers guided horseback rides on the hatchery trails.
Trails can be accessed from the gravel parking area outside of the Mid-Columbia Fish & Wildlife Office gate on CYO Road (near Sleeping Lady Resort) or from Hatchery Park on Fish Hatchery Road.
