This workshop is designed for kids 17 years and under, and a required accompanying adult.
From Noon-3pm participants will rotate through stations demonstrating a variety of beginner concepts regarding waterfowl hunting.
Participants will leave with a goody bag and basic knowledge to get them started waterfowl hunting.
Upon completion of the workshop, at 3pm, participants will be eligible to participate in the ttawa National Wildlife Refuge and Magee Marsh Wildlife Area Youth Waterfowl Hunt immediately following the workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to hunt portions of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge and Magee Marsh Wildlife Area from 4 pm until sunset that evening.

♦ Cleaning and Cooking Waterfowl
♦ Firearm Safety
♦ Gear Selection
♦ Decoy Setup
A packed brown bag dinner will be provided.

Space will be filled first come‐first served, with priority given to new applicants with little to no waterfowl hunting experience. Hunters with disabilities will be accommodated.
