Take a bike ride where bikes can’t normally go: the wildlife drive. Yes, you read that correctly. We will meet at the RV volunteer sites at 6585 N Stange Road just north of Stange Prairie. This guided bike ride will begin at the RV volunteer sites and will take you through the refuge on the wildlife drive out to Lake Erie and back.
This guided bike ride is part of our Migration Celebration, a month-long celebration of the fall migration of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and more. By joining this bike ride, you will “migrate” 7 miles. Registration is required. Call 419-898-0014 to register starting August 26th. This event is free.
Please remember that the wildlife drive is not open to hiking or biking under normal circumstances. This is an exclusive opportunity to bike the wildlife drive.
