Walk for the Wild

Celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week, October 7-14! Join the Friends of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and Seney National Wildlife Refuge for a 5K walk on the refuge and enjoy the fall colors!. The Walk is open to everyone and is a free event. We will have two trails: The Northern Hardwoods Trails (Bear, Cub, Smith Farm, and part of Goose Pen Bend) and the Pine Creek/Otter Run route which is more accessible for strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, etc. Participants are encouraged to dress like their favorite Wild Thing! There will be activities along the trails and participants of all ages can earn a Junior Ranger badge. The event will NOT be timed. Treats will be available at the finish. Can't make it on October 14th? We will also host a virtual walk a during National Wildlife Week so you can walk anywhere, any time, from October 1 to 23. Let us know where you're walking. We'd love to see your photos!
