Reno, Nevada — On February 19, 2026, The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service hosted a public hearing on its proposal to list the Fish Lake Valley tui chub as endangered under the Endangered Species Act. Additionally, the Service had reopened its public comment period from Feb. 4 through March 6, in order to allow interested parties additional time to submit comments on the proposal.
