Veterans Fishing Day

Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge and the Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office would like to invite all veterans and their families for an afternoon of fishing at Ringneck Marsh (no license required). This event will occur at Ringneck Marsh from 10am-2pm on June 13th. All equipment will be provided at no cost. Staff will be on-site and able to assist all anglers! Food and beverages will be provided thanks to the Veterans One-Stop Center of WNY. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Please register at www.vocwny.org

Date and Time: Saturday, June 13th from 10:00am-2:00pm.
Location: Ringneck Marsh on Oak Orchard Ridge Road, Medina, NY 14103. Please contact or visit the refuge visitor center if you need help finding your way.
Activity Level and Accessibility: Easy, can involve walking and standing. An ADA accessible fishing pier is available at Ringneck Marsh.
What to Bring: If you have equipment, you may bring your own fishing poles and we can provide bait! All equipment will be available at Ringneck Marsh for those who need it. This program is held entirely outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather. Cancellation notices will appear on Facebook and to those who registered.
