We are thrilled to welcome the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club back on Tuesday September 8 for a night with the stars. Join this special after-hours viewing of the night sky and learn about the cosmos, as well as the importance of dark skies for wildlife. Plus, some very exciting new partners! Local artist Jenn Houle will be leading a drop-in glow chalk mural in the Lot 1 parking lot beginning at 6pm. Star gazing begins at 7:30pm, and will be accompanied by Teddy Speck of Theater in the Open performing 'The Raven!'
All Ages.
This is an after-hours program. The refuge gate will be closed and locked by 7:45pm. Please arrive on time to avoid being locked out!
FURTHER MEET UP INSTRUCTIONS will be emailed to you 48-72 hours prior to the event.
