A Quick Trip Through Time: The First 13,000 Years of Human History in New England

Drawing from decades of archaeological research, Dr. Goodby discusses some of the highlights and mysteries of this long history, including information from the rich archaeological record of the Parker River and other estuaries along the Massachusetts-New Hampshire border and a comparison of the two oldest sites in New England, the Tenant Swamp site in Keene, New Hampshire and the Bull Brook site in Ipswich, Massachusetts, each occupied more than 12,000 years ago. Dr. Goodby is a professor of Anthropology at Franklin Pierce University, holds a Ph.D. from Brown University and has studied Native American archaeological sites in New England for 40 years.
