Nature In Your Neighborhood: Winter Wonders

You don't have to leave your neighborhood to explore nature! Join a refuge ranger at your local library to explore how our neighborhood nature is changing with the season. Activities will be both indoor and outside and are geared toward elementary-aged students, but all are welcome! We will finish the program with a take-home project. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Date and Time: Saturday, January 4th from 2pm-3pm

Registration Information: No registration required.

Activity Level: Easy-active, we will walk outside to the library lawn and explore in a small area.

What to Bring: Clothing and shoes you can comfortably move around in.  This program has indoor and outdoor portions, please bring outerwear appropriate for the fall weather. Event is rain or shine.

Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains available inside of the library.  Outdoor terrains include paved sidewalks and mowed lawn.

Program Leader: This program is led by refuge staff.
