Hawaiʻi - Honu (Green Sea Turtle) Critical Habitat Public Meeting

The Service will hold a virtual two-hour joint public meetings with the National Marine Fisheries Service on August 10, 2023, for the proposed honu (green sea turtle) critical habitat. The first hour of the public meetings will be comprised of brief informational presentations from each of the USFWS and NMFS proposed green turtle critical habitat designations and a 15-minute question-and-answer period. The second hour will be dedicated to a public hearing period for oral comments on, both, the USFWS terrestrial and NMFS marine proposed designations.

The meeting will take place from  6:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m. Hawaii time through Zoom online video platform and teleconference. Registration is required.
