Gallery Exhibit - Amanda Spaid

All of March

Fine artist Amanda Spaid of Greenbelt has hung her lovely work at Hollingworth before, as well as at the Watkins Nature Center, Brookside Gardens and Wheaton Regional Park. She has worked with many media, but describes her recent favorites as acrylic and gouache. She enjoys dry media on wood panels she’s collected and cut herself.

Her website ( https://www.amandaspaid.com/) includes faces, and many animals, but her favorite has to be birds. She offers classes with the aim for art students to work with line, texture, value, still life, flowers, perspective and developing and extending their skills. She also offers a lunch[1]time sketching class on Mondays. To register for these call the Greenbelt Community Center at (301) 397-2208.
