Friends of St Vincent NWR Annual Meeting invited speaker Dr. Sandra Brooke, works University's Coastal Marine Laboratory Teresa. Dr. Brooke is the Principal investigator for the Apalachicola Bay System Initiative (ABSI), a multidisciplinary project that was funded by the 2019 Triumph Gulf Coast in the aftermath of the collapse of the fishery several years ago. The five-year project literally, builds on previous attempts to restore the bay's oyster bars.
