What do Field Stations Entail?
Join as at any of the Field Stations that will pop-up in local parks and community spaces throughout the month of March and throughout the mid-Willamette Valley.
FREE!! Drop by anytime and stay for as little or as long as you like. Activities are bilingual (Spanish and English). ALL are welcome.
Field station will be near playground off SE Thurston Street. Parking is available at parking lot off SE Thurston Street.
Public transportation: Bus Route D (Stop ID: 126) drops off at Hill & 24th. 14-minute walk to field station.
At the Field Stations there will be activities such as:
- Wildlife hands-on activities, collectible event stickers and take-home activities
- Prairie Habitat Craft & Activity
- Activity Stations:
- Decomposer studies
- Live Critters
- Calm Kit Creation Station
- Make your own Native Plant Herbarium
- Obstacle Course
- Nature and bird walks
- Stream table science
- And More!
