Cedar Point Beach Cleanup

Join staff and volunteers of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge for a Beach Cleanup at Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge! The Beach Cleanup will take place on Saturday, September 14th from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Volunteers will meet at the Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge east entrance off the intersection of Yondota Rd and Poachers Hwy. From there, we will shuttle volunteers to the Cedar Point West Beach where we will pick up trash. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. Supplies such as gloves, bags, and trash pickers will be provided. Call (419) 898-0014 for more information and to register. Space is limited. Ages 15 and under require a guardian to be present. Please note, Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge is closed to the public – access is only by permit or through special events like this.

This event is part of our recurring monthly cleanups, usually scheduled on the second Saturday of every month. Keep an eye out for future volunteer events to help us keep plastic waste and other litter off of our beaches and out of our waterways and local communities!
