Birds of the Ohio River National Wildlife Refuge

The mid-Ohio Valley is bordered to the east and west by two of the nation’s major migratory flyways. Add those to all our resident birds and the variety of species is high. They come is all colors, shapes and sizes! Local birder and photographer Neal Hohman will be your guide, sharing the stories of our area’s most special avian visitors while sharing his extraordinary pictures in this evening slideshow presentation at the Ohio River Islands NWR visitor center on Waverly Road. The presentation is free to the public.
