Bird Watching for Dummies

Attending this presentation doesn’t mean you’re a dummy!! Bird Watching for Dummies is the title of a book—one in a series of “for Dummies” books—but this one has local connections. Its three authors, Jessica Vaughan, Dawn Hewitt, and Julie Zickefoose, are the editorial team of BWD magazine, which evolved from Bird Watcher’s Digest, which operated in Marietta. Dawn will talk a bit about the book and how it came about, but for those who consider consider themselves to be beginning birders, she'll also provide tips and ideas for improving birding skills and becoming a better birder.
