Join us for a beginner's nature photography workshop at San Diego National Wildlife Refuge. The lessons will be led by local photographer and naturalist Hector Valtierra and will be limited to the first 10 people to sign up with Nancy Fernandez via email Nancy_Fernandez@fws.gov. All ages welcomed. Minors need to be accompanied by an adult.
We will meet near the kiosk at the Millar Ranch Road parking lot (12155 Campo Rd., El Cajon, CA 92019) and take a walk on the refuge trails to learn how to best use your camera’s settings to capture great shots. Camera phones are also welcomed. Feel free to bring monopods or tripods.
Be prepared to walk on some slight inclines and some rocky terrain. We will be walking slow and stopping along the way any time we see something interesting.
