Archery: Celebrating Urban National Wildlife Refuge Day

Take your first shot at Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge and celebrate Urban National Wildlife Refuge Day! With safety as our priority, our instructors will help you with the basics of archery and learn a quick overview of the skills required to hit a bullseye. Families are welcome with kids ages 8 and up. No previous experience needed!

Date and Time: Sunday, October 13th from 1:00-2:30pm

Location: Bloomington Education and Visitor Center - 3815 American Blvd E. Bloomington, MN 55425

Registration Information: No registration required. 

Activity Level: Moderate-intensity, some upper body strength will be used.

Meet Us: Meet us inside the front entrance of the Bloomington Education and Visitor Center.

What to Bring: Clothing and shoes you can move around in easily.

Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains available inside the Visitor Center. There will be a guided 4 minute walk to get to the archery site from the Visitor Center on natural surfaces.

Program Leader: This program is led by refuge staff.
