35th Annual Summer Lecture Series: Five Decades of Watching Seabirds and Mammals

Mark your calendars for the fifth lecture in this year’s Summer Lecture Series this upcoming Wednesday, August 3rd at 7:00 pm

Join Bill Tweit, pelagic trip boat leader and birder extraordinaire, for this fascinating program about an ecosystem not always easy to observe. This program will provide a description of the California Current ecosystem off Washington, how Westport Seabirds have been collecting data since the early 1970s, and documented changes of some seabird and marine mammal populations.

As our COVID-19 Community Levels are at HIGH, masking is required in the Norm Dicks Visitor Center. Lectures are limited to 50 attendees on a first come, first served basis. A special thank you to Friends of the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Complex for hosting the Summer Lecture Series!
