Congregation of juvenile alligators

As we head towards the end of the year, it's not uncommon to look back over the past, maybe even wish for warmer days. This photo shows multiple young American alligators (Alligator mississippiensis) on Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, soaking up the sun on a warmer day and another year. The lighting and the gators' reflections makes it an especially interesting photograph.
