Endangered Species Act Turns 40! The Hump Back Chub

This is one resident of the Grand Canyon you may not know about – the humpback chub. A large member of the minnow family, it was once one of the most abundant fish species in the Grand Canyon, but populations declined significantly in response to human activities. Thanks to the help of our partners we are raising this endangered fish in captivity and releasing them back into the wild – giving it a fin up on its recovery! http://1.usa.gov/1iGNFsP
