U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Grid announce conservation plan and endangered species permit for two butterflies

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a 50-year incidental take permit to National Grid for impacts to the federally endangered Karner blue butterfly and state-protected frosted elfin butterfly during its gas and electric operations in New York.
