Free Kid's Fishing Day - Tunnel Pond in Orofino, Idaho
Dworshak National Fish Hatchery will partner with Nez Perce Tribal Fisheries to hold their 22nd annual Kid's Fishing Day. The event will be held on Saturday, May 12 from 8:00-3:00, at Tunnel Pond near Orofino. All fishing gear and bait is provided and there will be ice to chill your catch.
"This is a great opportunity for kids 12 and under to get outside and enjoy a day of fishing and fun," says Angela Feldmann, Information and Education Specialist at Dworshak National Fish Hatchery. "We will be partnering with several agencies to make this event fun for the entire family."
In addition to fishing there will be food, crafts, and educational displays.
