McNary National Wildlife Refuge Hosts Climate Change Event for All Ages
Have you ever wondered what climate change climate change
Climate change includes both global warming driven by human-induced emissions of greenhouse gases and the resulting large-scale shifts in weather patterns. Though there have been previous periods of climatic change, since the mid-20th century humans have had an unprecedented impact on Earth's climate system and caused change on a global scale.

Come and meet Mr. Carbon, an important member of the chemical table! Join us at McNary National Wildlife Refuge for Second Saturday on Saturday, December 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Mid-Columbia River Wildlife Refuges and is free to the public.
The McNary National Wildlife Refuge Education Center is located at 311 Lake Road in Burbank, WA. From the Tri-Cities, go east on I-182 and US Highway 12 to Burbank. At the Humorist Road stoplight, turn left. Turn left on Lake Road and travel 1/2 mile to the Education Center on the left. For more information, call 509-546-8300.
