Birders, Musicians, Historians, and Families - BirdFest and Bluegrass has something for everyone!

Come celebrate Refuge Week with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge at BirdFest and Bluegrass!

Just 25 minutes north of Portland is a wildlife and music festival rich with family-friendly activities. Enjoy wildlife tours, hikes, presentations, and exhibits. Learn more about the rich cultural history and archeology of the Refuge. Sample seafood cooked traditionally over a fire pit. Explore waterways around the Refuge by canoe and kayak on guided tours. Listen to Bluegrass music all day Saturday, or come to jam in a workshop. Enjoy children activities, crafts, storytelling, walks, birding hikes, and raptor shows.
