Free holiday trees available at Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge
Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge opened its yearly holiday tree program on Nov. 25. Two trees per person may be cut and taken from refuge grounds until the evening of Dec. 24. The program is free and open to anyone with a permit issued by the refuge office. Permits can be obtained at the refuge headquarters office, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
