U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE GRANTS $3.9 MILLION FOR MAJOR BOATING INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS IN SIX STATES
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced today that nine projects in six states will receive more than $3.9 million of competitive funding from the Boating Infrastructure Grant (BIG) program. These projects will help improve docking facilities for transient, non-trailerable boats at marinas in Louisiana, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington. The projects will be supplemented by $13 million from state, local and private partners.
