Norton Announces $180,000 Grant to Idaho to Support Conservation for Imperiled Species on Private Lands

During a meeting today with Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne, Interior Secretary Gale A. Norton announced Idaho will receive a $180,000 grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service under a new partnership program to assist private landowners in conserving and restoring the habitat of endangered species and other at-risk plants and animals.
