Service Releases Draft Analysis of Economic Impacts of Proposed Critical Habitat for the Otay Tarplant

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced today the availability of a draft analysis of economic impacts associated with its proposal to designate approximately 6,630 acres of land in San Diego County as critical habitat for the Otay tarplant (Deinandra conjugens). Comments on the draft economic analysis and the proposed rule to designate critical habitat for the Otay tarplant will be accepted through 5:00 p.m. on August 9, 2002.
