DRAFT ECONOMIC ANALYSIS ON PROPOSED CRITICAL HABITAT FOR CENTRAL COAST PLANT AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT

A draft report analyzing the potential impacts that would result from the proposed designation of critical habitat for the threatened Santa Cruz tarplant in Contra Costa, Santa Cruz, and Monterey counties is available for public comment.

To give the public the opportunity to comment on both the critical habitat proposal and the draft economic analysis, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is reopening the public comment period on the proposed critical habitat for the tarplant. Comments on the draft economic analysis and the critical habitat proposal will be accepted until June 6, 2002.
