In response to numerous public requests, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) has added four public meetings in Wisconsin and Michigan to discuss information included in the Restoration and Compensation Determination Plan (RCDP) for the Fox River/Green Bay Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA). The initial meeting was held in Green Bay, October 25.
The co-trustees working on this NRDA and include: the Service, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Michigan Attorney General, the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin, and the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians.
All meetings will be held from 6:00-10:00p.m. They are scheduled for:

The recently released Restoration and Compensation Determination Plan is available for review on the Services Fox River/Green Bay NRDA website: http://midwest/fws.gov/nrda/ This report culminates a 6-year effort on the NRDA and describes the type and the scale of environmental restoration required to correct damages after decades of PCB releases.
A court reporter will be available at the public meetings to record all comments. The public is invited to submit written or oral comments on the RCDP or other determinations released in earlier reports. All of these reports are available from the Service website.
The deadline for submitting comments on the RCDP is December 15. Comments can be sent to:
