Two Coastal Meeting Scheduled on Draft Western Snowy Plover Recovery Plan

Two Coastal Meeting Scheduled on Draft Western Snowy Plover Recovery Plan

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will host two informational public meetings on the Oregon coast to discuss the draft recovery plan for the western snowy plover. The draft plan was released in August, and public comments on it are being sought through December 12, 2001. The meetings will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Barn Community Center, East-West Meeting Room, 1100 West 11th Street, Bandon, Ore.; and Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the Florence Convention Center, 715 Quince Street, Florence, Ore. Both meetings are scheduled to run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
