GRIZZLY BEAR FOUND SHOT - REWARD OFFERED

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Defenders of Wildlife are offering a reward for information leading to the prosecution of individuals responsible for the shooting of a grizzly bear, found on Montana Route 1 between Heart Butte and Birch Creek in Southwest Montana. The bear, is thought to have had young as it was producing milk. Its claws had also been removed.
