Habitat Conservation Plan for Red-Cockaded Woodpecker
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has approved a plan to offset the loss of a family group of red-cockaded woodpeckers on 80 acres of private lands in Montgomery County, Texas, by enhancing protection and management of other populations of the species in East Texas.
