About Justin Westover

Justin Westover started his wildlife career at College of the Ozarks, where he studied Conservation and Wildlife Management as well as Field Biology and Ecology. His expertise centers on grassland ecosystems and avian ecology. He gained experience with the Missouri Department of Conservation and Oklahoma State University before starting his federal career with the National Park Service on Padre Island in Corpus Christi, TX. In 2023, Justin joined the USFWS Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program, concentrating on habitat improvement for private lands and developing outdoor classrooms to promote environmental education.
