About Brooke Burrows
Brooke grew up on the mainland splitting her time between many states. She received her bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management at The Ohio State University and her master's in Natural Resources Stewardship (specializing in ecological restoration) at Colorado State University. She has spent most of her career in the tallgrass prairie/wetland complexes of the Midwest. Previously Brooke worked at Minnesota National Wildlife Refuge and Wetland Management District. Brooke's expertise has been focused on native prairie plant species and the pollinators and waterfowl who use them. She is learning more everyday about the native flora and fauna of Kaua'i. In her free time, Brooke enjoys going on long walks and hitting up the beach with her dog.
