Cyanea kolekoleensis is a shrub in the Campanulaceae (bellflower) family, 1.5 to 1.9 m (4.9 to 6.2 ft) tall with a glabrous, unbranched stem and narrowly elliptic leaves. The upper leaf surfaces are green and glabrous while the lower surfaces are greenish white and glabrous with a sparsely pubescent midrib. Flowers are white and purple striped.
