Overview

Melicope mucronulata, a member of the Rutaceae (rue) family, is a small tree up to 4 m (13 ft) tall with oval to elliptic-oval leaves 8 to 16 cm (3.1 to 6.3 in) long and 3.5 to 6.5 cm (1.4 to 2.6 in) wide. Flower clusters are composed of 3 to 9 flowers are arranged in the leaf axils. The fruit is 2.4 to 2.8 cm (0.9 to 1.1 in) wide and is made up of separate sections, each containing one or two 6 mm (0.2 in) long seeds.
