About Us
Morgan Brake National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1977 via the Migratory Bird Conservation Act and the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act for the conservation, maintenance and management of migratory waterfowl, and their habitat, in the lower Mississippi River Delta. The refuge is located in Holmes County in the Mississippi alluvial plain and loessal hills in the Delta region of Mississippi.
