The Strait side of Dungeness Spit is open to saltwater fishing year-round, except for the area beyond the Lighthouse which is permanently closed to public access to protect wildlife. Access east and west of Graveyard Spit is by boat only and is allowed May 15 through September 30. These Refuge waters are closed to all uses October 1 through May 14.Public boat launches are available off Marine Drive at Cline Spit and Dungeness Landing.Species include flounder and Chinook and coho salmon. Washington State fishing regulations apply.
