Fishing is permitted on waterfowl production areas in accordance with state seasons. Vehicle access is limited to designated trails and parking areas. Devils Lake itself, while not part of the National Wildlife Refuge System, offers superb fishing opportunities for walleye, northern pike, white bass, and perch.
