We are in the process of organizing additional activities to make you stay more enjoyable in your free time after class.  For now, please enjoy our current activities list at the bottom of this page.

The National Conservation Training Center’s 530 acres of fields, forest and river frontage makes it an excellent location for bird watching all year round.  A NCTC bird checklist and binoculars are available to guests at the Front Desk.

The 2021 annual managed deer hunt at the National Conservation Training Center was successful.  A total of 36 deer were harvested, well above our average of thirty.   We greatly appreciate the assistance of our local hunters in helping keep the deer population at NCTC in balance...

There are several walking trails of varying lengths throughout the campus. NCTC's walking trail guide, color-coded by trail and length are available at the Front Desk. See list of trails you can hike on.

There are miles of recreational trails around the outlying areas of the property.  See list of trails.
