Emergency Wetlands Resources Act

The Emergency Wetlands Resources Act provides for the collection of entrance fees, thirty percent of which may be used for refuge operations and maintenance, and for the Secretary of the Interior to establish and periodically review a national wetlands priority conservation plan for Federal and State wetlands acquisition, complete National Wetlands Inventory maps for the contiguous United States by September 30, l998, to update the report on wetlands status and trends by September 30, 1990, and at 10- year intervals thereafter.
