Scientists and staff from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service use electroshockers and nets to capture and tag invasive brook trout in Washington's Tyee Springs. The fieldwork is part of a larger project to eradicate brook trout from the main water source for Carson National Fish Hatchery using YY males to eventually eradicate the Springs' brook trout population, which negatively impacts hatchery operations and poses problems for native fish.
