Jeremy Voeltz, a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service fishery biologist for the Arizona Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office, transports native Gila trout into 55-gallon drums that will flown up the Pinalenos Mountains to Frye Creek by helicopter as part of a Gila trout stocking project on Feb. 23, 2011. The fish stock came from the Service's Mora National Fish Hatchery in Mora, New Mexico. The Gila trout project, funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, created the first Gila trout season in Arizona. Image taken from USFWS Southwest Region Flickr page.
