Mike began his fisheries career working for Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) while an undergraduate at the University of Idaho. After graduation, Mike worked as a seasonal wildlife technician for IDFG and seasonal fisheries technician for the U.S. Forest Service. Mike started his Fish and Wildlife Service career as a Biological Science Technician with Lodi Fish and Wildlife Office working on the Enhanced Delta Smelt Monitoring and Delta Juvenile Fish Monitor Program. In August of 2020, he became a Crew Leader with Grand Junction Grand Junction FWCO.
