Mountain yellow-legged frog Recovery Plan

The Mountain yellow-legged frog recovery plan presents a logical path to recovery of the species based on what we know about the species’ biology and life history, and how threats impact the species. The recovery plan helps to provide guidance to the Service, States, and other partners on ways to eliminate or reduce threats to listed species and provides measurable objectives against which to measure progress towards recovery. The recovery plan provides time and cost estimates for achieving recovery of the species. The recovery plans are advisory documents, not regulatory documents, and do not substitute for the determinations and promulgation of regulations required under section 4(a)(1) of the Act.
