This Memorandum of Agreement between the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection & Energy (NJDEPE) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (Region II) (EPA), is entered into to enable the State of New Jersey to carry out the policies, regulations and procedures necessary to administer the permit program established pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (CWA).
