Malheur National Wildlife Refuge Withdrawal Draft EA-2024

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management has issued a draft environmental Assessment to withdrawal 199 acres of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge) from appropriation under public land laws including location and entry under U.S. mining laws for up to 100 years or more. A withdrawal also allows the 199 acres to be managed as part of the Refuge.
