Kauai Cave wolf spider with spiderlings

These are the first known photographs of the Kauai no-eyed spider with young. The spiderlings appear to have just hatched and the abandoned egg case is in the foreground. The baby spiders have climbed on to the parent spider's back. This behavior is demonstrated in other species of wolf spider.
